First of all, I decided to use a minimalistic design, so I used plain/sober fonts and few colors, a cream color for the background and all elements in black (Text, image), apart from the red logo and the two green bars.

In the bottom part I placed the logo of the event with an opacity of 20% so that it could occupy the entire page size. I decided to use the Jazz man as main image of my advertisement, I know it could be misleading representing only a jazz festival, but I really liked the image and the man playing trumpet gives the idea of a place where people enjoy themselves.

I used two images one upon the other, the one in the back has an opacity of 30% the other one has 100% opacity with both up and bottom side faded using gradient feather.

I used the white ink stain from their website for the bulleted list. I used them in the previous advertisement I designed and I kept them but I think that they fitted better in that one than in the final one.
