The calendar I designed is meant to be simple, It only has the element required, even because of the space more than that elements wouldn't have fit.
Almost every object (title, month grid, photos and coupons) so that it does not seem to be flat. For the picture the first one is a photo of my cat, the other to I founded them in internet. I decided to put the photo on the left side of the paper in order to have space on the right to put the fun facts I founded about animals.
Only after I realized that that part was "empty" with only the sentences, so I searched for a logo and put it behind the sentence with transparency 70%. I think that it fills the empty space without being too heavy, and it represent well an For the month grid I used the standard top-left alignment for the numbers, with the cells of the other months being grey (black with transparency 20%) and the number also in a darker gray (50%).
